Hello humans! I am M23 and welcome to my homelab! I’m a tech enthusiast from Germany with a deep passion for self-hosting, automation, and system optimization. My journey into IT started with a simple curiosity about how computers work, which led me to experiment with hardware, software, and networking. I even built my own 8-bit computer from scratch just to understand the fundamentals!
I manage a K3s Kubernetes cluster, which evolved from my previous Docker Swarm setup into a more scalable and efficient deployment. This cluster runs various applications using Traefik, KubeVIP, and Cloudflare for networking and ingress management.
For storage, I use TrueNAS as my NFS server, but it also plays a crucial role in managing data across my infrastructure. My setup includes monitoring with Grafana, a reverse proxy with Traefik, internal DNS routing, and various automation scripts. I also experiment with Twingate for remote access and maintain web applications, Discord bots, and APIs—often built with Node.js.
Beyond IT, I have a huge passion for science, especially quantum mechanics, math, and chemistry. I love exploring the complexities of the universe just as much as I enjoy tinkering with servers and writing code.
Whether it’s fine-tuning a Kubernetes deployment, building automation tools, or discussing the mysteries of quantum physics, I’m always eager to learn and experiment.
Feel free to check out my projects or reach out if you share a passion for homelabbing, DevOps, science, or computing!
